Mesa Public Schools partnership to address counselor shortage

The School of Counseling and Counseling Psychology's new master's degree concentration will enable students to obtain licensure upon graduation.

The faculty of Counseling and Counseling Psychology focuses on the education of counselors and psychologists to become culturally competent to work with a diverse clientele in a variety of mental health settings. We highlight the use of research to inform our knowledge base and our training to prevent or treat psychological problems and to promote the health of individuals, families, groups, and organizations in a multicultural and diverse society.
