The mission of the College of Letters and Sciences Academic Services is to advocate for student success, retention and graduation through purposeful academic relationships and community building. The school is committed to providing to each student with quality academic advising. We believe that academic advising plays an important role in each student’s academic success. The academic advisor can assist students in selecting courses that meet their graduation requirements, as well as help them identify, clarify and achieve their academic goals.

It is recommended that students get advised each semester prior to registration for their next semester’s classes. We also recommend using the advising syllabus for details on what to expect from your academic advisor and important activities you need to complete during your first two semesters at ASU. Download the advising syllabus here
